Daytime is a different restaurant: counter service, no reservations, open until 2pm. The tasting menu is $325. A wine pairing is $195 and a non-alcoholic pairing is $95. Corkage is $50 a bottle up to 750ml, two bottles max.
Cancel inside 48 hours, or shrink the party inside 48 hours, and the charge is $325 a guest. Allergies have to be on the reservation at least 48 hours ahead. They will not cook around soy, egg, allium, a vegan menu, corn, refined sugar, MSG, seed oil, keto, or paleo. Questions go to reservations@kasamachicago.com.
For the daytime menu, order carry-out online instead of joining the dine-in line, which can run for hours. When your order is ready, go to the front, through both doors, and tell the staffer at the right you're picking up; diners report waits of 45 minutes at most.
