Albi is the Navy Yard Palestinian room, the one with the lamps and the fire. William Simons, wine director and director of operations, told Resy in an interview published May 18, 2026 that a full month opens at midnight on the first of the previous month. His example: all of July opens at midnight on June 1. Resy’s DC guide, updated September 23, 2026, says the same shape and adds that two calendar months sit on the book at once. Neither source names a time zone.
The reservations page, checked October 19, 2026, lists Wednesday through Saturday, 5 to 10 p.m., and Sunday through Tuesday closed. The May interview described Tuesday through Saturday, 5 to 9 p.m. Follow the reservations page for the hours, and read it again before you go.
Simons put the room at 65 seats. He said they hold a large share of the bar for walk-ins and run a waitlist. On Friday and Saturday that waitlist starts at 5 p.m., and within 45 minutes it can be about four hours. Resy’s September guide says the dining room is reservations only and that the bar is the walk-in to try. Confirmations go out 48 hours ahead, which is when he said the book turns over. That is the moment to be on Resy Notify.
À la carte and Sofra, the improvised five-course, are both offered in the bar room and the dining room. The Hearth Table, by the fire, is the chef-curated seating only. The Garden Table, behind the restaurant, is Sofra for 10 to 14 people. That one is booked by email at reservations@albidc.com. Saha, the cocktail lounge, is drinks and the waiting area for guests who already have a reservation.
La’ Shukran is the Union Market rooftop from the same team, and it is the louder sister of Albi. Resy’s September 23, 2026 guide gives it the same release: two calendar months at a time, a given month at midnight on the first of the preceding month. The time zone is not named. A walk-in is difficult. Bar seats open later in the evening, and the staff will use an unreserved table when they can. The guide’s words are that reservations are highly encouraged.
Lutèce is the Georgetown bistro, the focaccia room, small enough that a Friday feels full the moment you walk in. Resy’s September 23, 2026 guide says reservations drop 30 days ahead at 11 a.m. It does not name the time zone. A walk-in is possible, and the dining room fills quickly. The chef’s table, a tasting with an encouraged wine pairing, is its own Resy.
Maydan is the Florida Avenue hearth, down the alley that does not look like a restaurant. The welcome page says online reservations for parties of up to six become available at 10:00 a.m. on a rolling 21-day basis. It does not name a time zone. The reservations page, checked October 19, 2026, links OpenTable for that book.
Parties of five or larger are asked to take the Tawle menu. À la carte is available on request for parties of four or fewer. Tawle is $95 a guest, and the price changes for parties of seven or more. A reservation is held 15 minutes. Walk-ins are seated when a table or a bar seat is free. If it is not, they text a waitlist and you have 10 minutes to answer. The bar is first come and serves the full menu. A 20% service fee is on every check. Parties of seven or more are 22%. Corkage is $35 a 750ml bottle, two bottles maximum. Hot food last call is 10:30 p.m. They cannot accommodate an allium allergy.
Osteria Mozza in Georgetown drops 28 days ahead at midnight, according to Resy’s September 23, 2026 guide. The time zone is not named. They keep walk-in room in the dining room, at the mozzarella bar, and in the market you walk through to reach the tables. The butterscotch budino is the reason people stay for dessert.
Le Diplomate is the Logan Circle brasserie, the steak au poivre and the patio that watches 14th Street. Resy’s September 23, 2026 guide says reservations drop 30 days ahead. That update does not print the hour. Walk-ins check in at the host stand. When the weather is good, the patio is the seat to ask for.
