Chicago rooms where a cited page names a bar, a counter, a communal table, or a solo seat. Galit is on this page because the communal table is the walk-in, and because the FAQ says the bar is not a dining seat.
Difficulty on this page is a Midnight Table estimate, not official Resy or OpenTable data, and not a guarantee of a table. Each note was checked on the date printed under that restaurant. A restaurant can change the rule after that.
Alerts is $12 a month and watches the drop. Concierge books in your name, on the restaurant's own platform. Membership and pricing. The Guestlist is the free weekly letter.
The Infatuation guide dated July 9, 2026 says Monteverde’s bar is first come, first served, and that it is an easier seat alone. The same guide says dinner is booked out for months and that lunch, Tuesday through Saturday, is the realistic reservation. It does not give a dinner release time.
