West Loop date night in this directory is a pasta room with no published dinner hour, an OpenTable book that runs two months out, a prepaid tasting, and a burger counter that takes a short Resy list. The notes below use pages already checked for this directory.
Difficulty on this page is a Midnight Table estimate, not official Resy or OpenTable data, and not a guarantee of a table. Booking notes were checked on the date under each restaurant. A restaurant can change the window after that.
Alerts is $12 a month and watches the drop. Concierge books in your name, on the restaurant's own platform. Membership and pricing. The Guestlist is the free weekly letter.
Monteverde is the West Loop pasta room. The reservations page, checked October 24, 2026, links Resy and does not print a dinner release time. The Infatuation guide dated July 9, 2026 also does not give a dinner release time. It says the regular dinner book runs months out, that lunch Tuesday through Saturday is the realistic reservation, and that the bar is first come, first served.
Alla Vita is the other West Loop Italian on this list. The reservations page links OpenTable and says reservations are recommended. It does not print a window or an hour. The Infatuation guide dated July 9, 2026 says those OpenTable reservations are released 60 days ahead at 12:01 a.m., and it does not name a time zone. That guide says prime dinner is scarce, so the practical book is about a month out, and that the bar and the patio are first come, first served at opening.

Au Cheval’s about page, checked October 19, 2026, says walk-ins are first come, first served, and that a limited number of Resy reservations are taken for parties up to 4. That page does not print how far ahead the Resy list opens or at what hour. A clock time is not repeated here.
